Large Bird Ginger Jar 65cm

This temple jar is genuine Jingdezhen porcelain, made in the region long recognised for producing some of the finest high‑fired ceramics in China.  Jingdezhen became known for porcelain of exceptional purity and durability, with artisans refining throwing, glazing and hand‑painting techniques over many centuries. Workshops there continue to use mineral pigments applied by hand before firing, which develop clarity and depth at high temperatures and become integral to the porcelain surface. 

Pieces from Jingdezhen are often valued for this level of workmanship, where specialist skills combine to create decoration with lasting definition.
