Marble Bee Lidded Box

A charming bee motif drageoir in deep grey marble.  Crafted in charcoal marble with a soft, polished patina, this 18th-century–inspired drageoir is adorned with delicate gold bee motifs, a symbol of immortality and a fashionable emblem of the Napoleonic era.  Traditionally used to present sugared almonds or confectionery at formal gatherings, today it serves beautifully as a decorative accent or collector’s piece.

Each one is hand-set and finely finished in the workshop, with subtle variations that speak to its artisanal origins.  Rich in detail and presence, it’s a striking addition to any tabletop or cabinet.
